KATHMANDU: A fire incident yesterday in the Kaule Community Forest of Ramechhap Municipality-8, Dolakha, resulted in the death of a resident and significant property loss.
Ramechhap authorities confirmed that 32-year-old Ramita Tamang perished after becoming trapped inside a burning house. The fire spread to a neighboring residence, destroying both structures.
Adding to the tragedy, Ramechhap police reported the loss of 48 animals in the blaze. An investigation into the cause of the fire is likely underway.
