KATHMANDU: At Tribhuvan International Airport (TIA), Prime Minister KP Oli paid a visit to the scene of the Saurya Airlines disaster. After arriving, he examined the crash site and conveyed his profound grief over the deaths of the eighteen technicians and crew members who were on a normal technical test flight to Pokhara.
Posting a condolence message on social media, PM Oli said, "I am deeply saddened by the loss of 18 technicians and crew members in the plane crash." Along with assuring the people that the airport is now operating and asking them to exercise patience during this trying period, he also noted that he has conferred with the Civil Aviation Authority of Nepal to determine the reason of the disaster.
