Thai-Nepal Friendship Association established to strengthen bilateral ties

KATHMANDU: The Thai-Nepal Friendship Association has been established to foster mutual relations and cooperation between Thai and Nepali citizens. The inaugural president of the Association is Vitignadhan Rojnapanit, the first Thai mountaineer and businessperson. This initiative was launched in Thailand, as reported by the Embassy of Nepal in Bangkok.

The Association aims to enhance cooperation and collaboration between Thailand and Nepal in various sectors, including social, economic, cultural, and academic fields. It seeks to create a platform for both nations to strengthen their ties and work together on shared interests.

At the inauguration, Nepali Ambassador to Thailand Dhan Bahadur Oli expressed his dedication to supporting the Association in achieving its objectives. His commitment underscores the importance of the Association's role in bridging the two nations and fostering a robust bilateral relationship. 

The formation of the Thai-Nepal Friendship Association marks a significant step in promoting greater understanding and collaboration between the people of Thailand and Nepal, paving the way for future partnerships and joint ventures.
