Nepal's ambassador presents Letters of Credence to Italian President

KATHMANDU: On Tuesday, the Non-resident Ambassador of Nepal to Italy, Ram Prasad Subedi, presented his Letters of Credence to President Sergio Mattarella of Italy. In response, President Mattarella acknowledged the shared civilizational and cultural ties between Italy and Nepal, emphasizing the importance of fostering economic cooperation and strengthening people-to-people relations. This information was relayed by the Nepali Embassy in Geneva.

Ambassador Subedi, during the audience with President Mattarella, conveyed warm greetings and well wishes from President Ramchandra Paudel and Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal 'Prachanda'. He extended wishes for the President's personal well-being and happiness, as well as for the continued peace and prosperity of the Italian people.

Additionally, Ambassador Subedi took the opportunity to brief President Mattarella about the priorities of the current Nepali government. This exchange signifies a significant step in enhancing diplomatic relations between Nepal and Italy, setting the stage for closer collaboration and mutual understanding between the two nations.
