KATHMANDU: There are 800 caregiver positions available in Israel, and each one pays more than Rs 200,000 a month. Applications for these high-paying positions may be filed online to the Department of Foreign Employment no later than 21 days from the announcement date.
The requirements for applying are that the candidate should be between 25 to 45 years of age, with a minimum height of 1.5 meters and a minimum weight of 45 kg, and should have passed the SEE with an Auxiliary Nurse Midwifery 15-month course or a Community Medicine Assistant Course completed. Alternatively, qualification comes with the passing of Plus 2 or its equivalent in an Arts/Science stream attended earlier, followed by a minimum of three months of training in the caregiving profession.
Applicants must have no past job experience in Israel and no direct family members working there. To perform their caring obligations, they must be in good physical and mental condition.
Out of the 800 posts to be offered, 500 shall be for principal candidates, while 300 will be placed as reserve candidates. The recruitment process is also expected to improve gender diversity, with 60 percent reserved for female applicants and 40 percent for male applicants.
Successful candidates will receive a monthly salary of 5,880 Shekels, equivalent to approximately Rs 210,000. The contract for these roles spans five years, offering stable employment and competitive compensation for qualified Nepali candidates looking to work in Israel.
