KATHMANDU: The House of Representatives (HoR) meeting has been rescheduled to Sunday at 11 AM, as announced by the Federal Parliament Secretariat. Originally set for 11 AM and then delayed to 2 PM today, the meeting could not take place at either scheduled time.

The Speaker decided to adjourn the meeting after discussions with Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal and leaders from opposition parties. The Speaker conveyed optimism that the next session would proceed in a more cooperative manner.

The Nepali Congress has been persistently obstructing parliamentary proceedings, demanding the formation of a parliamentary probe committee to investigate Deputy Prime Minister and Home Minister Rabi Lamichhane's involvement in a cooperative fraud case.
