KATHMANDU: Today, the Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) witnessed a decline, with the index dropping by 19.76 points to close at 2076.49. This downturn marked the second trading day of the week, accompanied by a decrease of 0.89 points in the overall market capitalization.
The trading session saw 198 companies experiencing a decrease in their share prices, while 40 companies observed gains. Additionally, the share prices of 9 companies remained unchanged. A total of 9,544,734 shares were traded during the session, with transactions amounting to a value of Rs 4.05 billion.
In today's NEPSE transactions, investors in Samaj Microfinance emerged as the top gainers, while investors in Mankamana Smart Microfinance faced the highest losses.
