This new policy is a component of Sri Lanka's drive to implement a visa-exempt travel system. M.U.M. Ali Sabry, the minister of foreign affairs for Sri Lanka, made the announcement on social media, and it will be in force for six months.
Important international players including the United States, China, India, and Bangladesh are among the nations on the list of nations that do not require a visa to enter. The goal of the policy is to increase tourism and make travel easy for these countries' inhabitants.
Sewa Lamsal, Nepal's Foreign Secretary, thanked the Sri Lankan government for allowing Nepal to be included on the list of countries that do not require a visa. With this action, Sri Lanka and the mentioned nations' travel and diplomatic ties will grow significantly.
