KATHMANDU: The Nepali rupee has hit a new low against the US dollar, with the Nepal Rastra Bank (NRB) setting the exchange rate at Rs 134.63 per dollar for Wednesday. This represents a record depreciation of the Nepali currency.
On Tuesday, the exchange rate was Rs 134.46 per dollar, indicating a single-day increase of 17 paisa for the US dollar. The recent shift highlights the ongoing weakness of the Nepali rupee in the foreign exchange market.
