KATHMANDU: The Commission for the Investigation of Abuse of Authority (CIAA) has made the decision to initiate legal proceedings, alleging corruption in the procurement of equipment at the Security Printing Center. Sources within the CIAA have confirmed that the case will be filed at the Special Court in the near future. Among those implicated in the alleged corruption is Bikal Paudel, who serves as the executive director of the Center.

While the CIAA has identified individuals involved in the corruption, the names and specific details of the defendants have been withheld from the public. This decision to maintain confidentiality regarding the identities of the accused is in line with the standard practice of the CIAA during ongoing investigations and legal proceedings.
